Take note of what the phone is detected as (often as Unknown or Mediatek under Other devices). Connect the phone to the PC via a USB cord, Device manager should refresh. Launch Device manager (Right-click My Computer > Select Manage). Try holding down the Volume decrease (you could try volume increase or both) while connecting the phone to PC for flashing. Try a different USB cord, USB port & PC.
